Tell us about your background and what inspired you to start your business.

My career began in the corporate world, where I worked closely with CEOs across London and the Middle East. It was an incredible opportunity to observe firsthand what makes leaders truly successful – their ability to focus on the bigger picture, prioritise their zone of genius, and maintain clarity in their decision-making. These roles taught me the importance of efficiency, strategy, and streamlined operations, all of which are essential for sustainable growth.

When I had my first daughter, I felt a profound shift – a need to create something meaningful that aligned with my values, allowed me to be present for her, the freedom to build a business on my terms and also to inspire her.

I started my business during maternity leave, blending my corporate experience with my passion for helping ambitious women succeed in business while creating a life of freedom and purpose.

At The Mears Collective, we offer strategic guidance, streamlined systems, and operational support, incorporating mindset work and mentoring to create truly transformative results for our clients.

What sets us apart is our comprehensive and bespoke approach. We focus on helping our clients scale smarter – not harder – by aligning their strategy, systems, and mindset to achieve sustainable growth. We empower women to focus on what matters and build businesses that generate income, create impact, and bring both freedom and fulfillment.

Can you share a few success stories?

One of our clients, a leadership consultant, came to me intending to expand into new regions internationally. She had a strong reputation in the UK but struggled to gain traction in new markets. Together, we built a scalable business model that included tailored leadership programmes designed specifically for corporate audiences throughout Europe and the Middle East.

We worked on her positioning, created a go-to-market strategy, and developed systems to handle increased demand. Within a year, she had secured contracts with three multinational organisations, enabling her to deliver her programmes globally. She had gone from wondering if she could ever expand beyond the UK to leading workshops with corporate teams around the world.

A psychologist and expert in trauma that we work with, had a vision of creating an online programme to train other professionals in trauma-informed practices. She also dreamed of expanding her business to include global speaking engagements and running transformational events.

We started by developing a comprehensive strategy that aligned her expertise with her goals. This included building an online programme, creating a roadmap for securing speaking opportunities and developing impactful marketing that showcased her authority in the field. Her programme generated £30k in the first cohort and her launches have continued to grow. She is also an in-demand speaker with engagements in the US, South Africa, and Dubai and has a retreat in Barbados planned for the new year.

Another client, a tech entrepreneur, came to me looking to refine her strategy as her business prepared to scale. She had a groundbreaking SaaS product that was gaining traction, but she lacked the time and clarity to focus on growth opportunities while managing the demands of a fast-paced start-up.

We began by identifying her core goals, clarifying her positioning, and developing a strategic plan for securing partnerships and investment. We helped her refine her pitch deck and prepared her for investor meetings, focusing on articulating her business’s unique value proposition and long-term vision.

Within six months, she secured a significant round of funding and expanded her team, enabling her to take her product to international markets. She told me, “Working with you gave me the clarity I needed to focus on the big picture and raise what was possible for me. Your guidance has been a game-changer for my business and my confidence as a leader.”

What is the key to growing a business?

Business growth isn’t about doing more – it’s about working smarter. That means having a clear vision, understanding what drives your business forward, and creating systems that work seamlessly to support growth.

Growth also requires a mindset shift. Many business owners struggle to relinquish control in the early days or struggle with limiting beliefs about their capacity to grow. By focusing on your zone of genius and letting go of what’s holding you back both physically and mentally, you create the space to innovate and lead with impact. It’s not just about the bottom line – it’s about building a business that aligns with your vision and values, bringing both freedom and fulfilment.

“You will shine when you focus on your zone of genius.” What has been your zone of genius?

My zone of genius lies in seeing the bigger picture while breaking it down into actionable, achievable steps. I have a talent for identifying inefficiencies, uncovering opportunities for growth, and creating solutions that empower women to scale smarter. I thrive on helping clients transform their business success from the inside out, aligning strategy and mindset to create long-lasting results.

What will people notice when working with you?

From our first conversation, you’ll feel my dedication to your success. I bring a blend of energy, clarity, and an unshakeable belief in your potential, pushing boundaries and expanding horizons.

My clients often say I turn the daunting into the doable. I’m here not just as your strategist but as your partner in creating a life and business that’s as rewarding as it is successful.

Mentorship is big for you. Tell us about your initiatives.

Mentorship has always been a cornerstone of my work because I believe it’s the bridge between strategy and success. As a NED for Skills4Startups, my work focuses on advising on how to grow and innovate, and my mentorship with clients within my own business is much more personal.

For my strategy clients, mentorship is about more than guidance – it’s about accountability and removing barriers. I stay with them as they implement their strategies, providing the support they need to overcome obstacles and adapt to challenges. By ensuring they stay on track, I help them avoid common pitfalls and maximise their chances of success.

For example, when a client launches a one-to-many offer or expands into a new market, we work closely to refine the process, address challenges as they arise, and ensure the strategy evolves with the business. Mentorship provides that crucial layer of support, giving clients the confidence and clarity to take bold steps forward.

Whether it’s one-on-one or through larger initiatives, the power of mentorship lies in its ability to create space for growth and connection while keeping clients accountable to their dreams.

What is your vision for 2025?

By 2025, I plan to bring more mindset modalities into my one-to-one work, enhancing the transformation I provide by helping clients overcome self-limiting beliefs that stand in the way of their success. I want to continue creating transformation for ambitious entrepreneurs and their businesses, running more impactful events, and leading a couple of secret projects that I’m excited to share when the time is right!

In addition, I’ll be launching another business in the new year, focused on supporting businesses to enhance efficiency, allowing them to scale smarter and create more impact with ease. Above all, my vision is to help ambitious women globally achieve freedom, success, and fulfillment in their businesses and lives.
