By JULES LAVALLEE
Starting out as an Artisan Jeweler and Designer specializing in loomed cuff bracelets, Danielle Nicole Enright moved on to lead her own female empowerment brand, ABRAU, adding curated fine jewelry pieces and expanding to worldwide and celebrity clientele. Abrau is proud to be considered a “Pay it Forward Company”, donating a portion of her proceeds to numerous local and National non-profits.
Since 2011, ABRAU has been included in gift bags for the Academy awards and has been worn on celebrities and on the silver screen. You can see Danielle’s pieces worn on TV shows like, The Vampire Diaries, The Voice, The Young and the Restless, and most recently her pyrite necklace was chosen as a season staple on Law & Order Organized Crime. Her jewelry has also been spotted in magazines like Vogue, Marie Claire and Condé Nast Traveler.
In 2021, ABRAU was awarded “Most Impactful Business Award” by DotCom Magazine for the mentoring that she does on the side. Danielle has amassed a large following of ladies on Instagram, and she has been called “inspirational” and an “icon” by thousands of young women who are inspired by her ability to stay humble and personable, sharing her own struggles as an entrepreneur. Danielle feels most blessed for the female connections that she has made and her ability to inspire other females to start their own businesses. Danielle states, “to think that I’ve inspired another female to start their own jewelry line or business is the biggest blessing and reward of my career!”
Would you describe yourself as a Renaissance Woman?
Absolutely, I would! I believe a Renaissance Woman is someone who embraces creativity in all its forms and isn’t afraid to explore new territories. Since founding ABRAU in 2011, my journey in jewelry design has allowed me to wear many hats and dive into multiple passions. It’s about blending the old with the new and exploring all of my passions and all that I’m capable of.
You are a well-known jewelry designer for celebrities. Can you share your favorite designs?
One of my favorite designs are the earrings that I designed for The Young and the Restless and that were worn on actress Cait Fairbanks who plays Tessa Porter. I love how those earrings fit her edgy and elegant character perfectly. The sleek and modern spike combined with the French ear wire create the perfect balance and they look beautiful on the small screen.
I also loved seeing many 302 Fine Jewelry Collection pieces worn on Jenn Tran on the Bachelorette and Joan Vassos on The Golden Bachelorette. My favorite pieces that we carry are the The Evil Eye Necklace (# R50047) and 14K White Gold Diamond Hoops (# 689044) worn on Jenn Tran on episode 4 of The Bachelorette and The Diamond Bypass Ring (# 689125) worn on Joan Vassos of The Golden Bachelorette.
Share some of your lessons learned when building your company.
Starting ABRAU taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and adaptability. One significant lesson is the importance of having a solid support network with mentors and a dedicated group of fellow female business owners who lift you up daily. Also, never underestimating the power of listening to customer feedback. It’s crucial to evolve and improve continuously.
What have you enjoyed the most?
The most enjoyable part of what I do is the creative freedom. Whether it’s designing a custom jewelry piece or transforming a living space with renovation, each project is a new canvas. Witnessing the joy and satisfaction of my clients when they see the finished product of my custom designs is also incredibly rewarding. Plus, the ongoing opportunities to innovate and push creative boundaries are exhilarating.
Tell us about your new designs for the holidays and your goals for 2025.
I’m so excited to offer the full 302 Fine Jewelry Collection this holiday season as well as introducing new handmade pieces that will be sent to the wardrobe stylist for The Young and the Restless for consideration of use on the show. I’m also excited to send new pieces to Sabrina Carpenter that will be available on my site as limited editions in limited quantities.
For 2025, my goal is to further expand ABRAU, reaching new markets and incorporating sustainable practices in our design and production processes. I also aim to expand my blog, Wire & Rose, a dedicated blog for interior design, as well as offer new mentorship opportunities. The future looks bright and I’m utterly thrilled for what’s next!
